Position: Hardware Design Engineer – RF

About the Role
Join HYPMOTION to design and build test boards that bring SDR (Software Defined Radio) systems to life. You’ll work with SOM and Flight Controller teams, collaborate with PCB manufacturers and suppliers, and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop test boards for wireless chips, FPGAs, PMUs, sensors, and peripherals.
- Work with digital interfaces such as I2C, JTAG, UART, SPI, SPMI, PCIe.
- Create power distribution and filtering circuits for wireless chips.
- Troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers.
- Ensure PCB performance through signal integrity, power integrity, and DFM/DFT principles.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate wireless chips into complete systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar PCB tools.
- Knowledge of high-speed PCB design, crosstalk reduction, and impedance matching for RF interfaces.
- Experience with RF and antenna simulation tools (CST, HFSS, ADS) is a plus.
- Passion for electronics and problem-solving.
